REVEREND DIANE MONTI-CATANIA

Pastor Diane was called to serve the Salisbury Congregational Church in January 2011. She graduated from Yale Divinity School and was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 2006. She is currently completing work on a Doctorate in Ministry at Hartford Seminary with a concentration on Inter-religious Understanding and Peacemaking. Ministry is a second career for Pastor Diane. She has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from American University and a Master’s Degree in Human Development from the University of Maryland. She enjoyed a 20-year career in social justice advocacy focused on addressing violence against women. Pastor Diane lives in Salisbury with her husband, Dr. Joseph Catania, a general surgeon at Sharon Hospital. They have two grown sons: Joey of Washington, DC and Andrew of San Diego, California.
