On Friday, December 7th, some of the youth got together and prepared recipes they wanted to bake. We made mini banana muffins, raspberry shortbread cookies and confetti cake cupcakes. We learned more about each other through baking as baking brought us closer together. We took the items we baked and shared them with the church community on Sunday December 9th for coffee hour. In addition to the Friday night baking, youth who could not attend, baked at home and brought in banana bread and peanut butter cup cookies. It was such a fun experience for us to be together outside of youth group and empowering for our youth to prepare and host coffee hour.
