Many thanks to the Salisbury Youth Group + Friends community which lent people power to several initiatives supporting our partner orgs FISH and Nourish Bridgeport over the holidays. Treats were baked, over 25 gift baskets were stuffed (and I mean stuffed), and dozens of cards were made by young and old over several days at church and elsewhere. The result was a lovely abundance of hospitality that Peggy and Dave Heck, and I’m sure there were others, bravely transported across the state of Connecticut for delivery in time for holiday parties, community Christmas dinners, and more. Many, many thanks to all involved, and we’ll look forward to doing it again next year.
