On March 25, Deacon Pat Palmer delivered three dozen cupcakes and these gift bags for nine residents of Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who have March birthdays. For a number of years, The Congregational Church of Salisbury has supplied the goodies and gifts for the celebration of March birthdays for Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation’s permanent residents. The recreation director provides us with a wish list and we shop for a gift for each person. The “wished for” items vary widely from yarn for finger crocheting to a journal and pens to body wash and body lotion. Recreation Director Tammy MacDonald thanked us for making these residents feel so special.
