Join Us for “Public Conversations of Consequence” Starting March 30, 2025

At the Congregational Church of Salisbury, we are mindful that these are challenging times. We feel fear and fractiousness — in ourselves and our neighbors. We are learning how important it is to speak truly from our experiences and, just as importantly, to listen closely to the truth spoken by others. So, we will put this into practice by hosting a series of “Public Conversations of Consequence,” creating an opportunity for substantive, caring discussion.

Our first Public Conversation of Consequence will be held on Sunday, March 30th, 4:30-6:00 pm, and the topic will be Forgiveness.

Four guest presenters, coming from varied professional fields (philosophy, public health, the clergy, and counseling/therapy) have been invited to share their perspectives on the notion of forgiveness through the lens of their professional practice. Attendees are invited to listen thoughtfully, to interact with the guest presenters, and to engage with their fellow attendees.

Refreshments will be served following the structured program for those who wish to continue the conversations.
