For 11-year-old Makayla who was just diagnosed with T-cell Leukemia and is currently in the hospital receiving heavy duty chemotherapy. I pray that she and her family can hold onto the encouraging words of the doctors who tell Makayla that she will get old, and I pray for the whole family, especially her grandparents (friends of ours), her Mom Julie and Dad Matt, and her sister Katie and brother Eli.

Prayers are needed for all of the families who lived a nightmare a few nights ago in Millerton with a devastating fire and the loss of two lives. From what I understand 5 families are now homeless and needing resources and housing and most of all, to be lifted up and to have faith they will get back on their feet eventually.
