For God's healing presence with each of the 86,406,334 persons with COVID-19 disease in the world over the last four weeks, including the 18,205,477 in our country;
for God's sustaining spirit with those who are grieving each one of the 5,691,289 deaths, including 890,936 in the US;
for God's power to move through each person giving healing care for body, mind, and spirit;
for God's strength to sustain those developing and delivering vaccines and other measures to keep people safe.

For 11-year-old Makayla who was just diagnosed with T-cell Leukemia and is currently in the hospital receiving heavy duty chemotherapy. I pray that she and her family can hold onto the encouraging words of the doctors who tell Makayla that she will get old, and I pray for the whole family, especially her grandparents (friends of ours), her Mom Julie and Dad Matt, and her sister Katie and brother Eli.
